With its wide swath of riverside parkland, Bulleen was once an important aboriginal site. Later, the entire region was purchased by a Sydney solicitor for just a pound an acre. Today, it’s worth considerably more; a sought-after suburb for families who enjoy its proximity to the CBD (13 km) and outdoor attractions. Extensive sporting grounds, bike and walking trails, playgrounds and parks draw family and fitness focused crowds. There are also plenty of great shopping and school options here, including Marcellin College, and a nationally renowned art museum. Surrounded by fantastic amenities and boasting many of its own, Bulleen is packed with appeal.
